A Posto Personal Chef Services LLC has designed the following service offerings for clients enjoying their time off here in Florence- Personal or Vacation Chef Services: They shop, prep, cook, package, and store meals in your home or vacation property for you to enjoy now fresh or reheated later as frozen.
- Small Dinner Parties: Spend more time entertaining with your friends and family and let them do the planning, shopping, prepping, cooking, and clean-up. This service is ideal for family reunions, coastal retreats with friends, or celebrating a special occasion.
- Wedding Services: Celebrate your special day with their personal chef and catering services for rehearsal dinners, receptions, small dinner parties, and 'day after' dining events such as a wedding party brunch.
- Family Reunions and Group Events: Let them create a custom menu or service for your event. Whether it's a themed party such as a Mexican Fiesta, or a fresh pasta class to promote team building, they will work with you to make the event special.
- Cooking Classes: Get of a group of your friends together in your vacation home and learn how to make something delicious. A Posto Chefs offer demonstration only or interactive classes; you get to eat the final preparation no matter who makes it!
- One-on-One Instruction: Learn a new skill, technique, or recipe in the privacy and comfort of your vacation home.
Corporate Retreat, Wedding Parties & Family Reunions
All but one of our houses are located at Heceta Beach. We have 6 houses on 2nd Avenue(Whales Watch, Sea Lion Surf, Saltwater Tides, Starfish Sands, Sandpiper & Ocean View Villa) less than a block apart. Sand Dollar Shores is at the Corner of Ocean & 3rd Ave, just 2 houses from 2nd Ave. Gull Landing sits on 1rst Avenue, right below, Starfish Sands & Saltwater tides. Seaweed and The Hut are both on Pond Street. Sea Star Spa, Heceta Beach Haven & the Beachcomber Bugalow, are in between the two sections of houses. And all of our Heceta Beach houses are less than a mile apart. It's a great place to gather for family reunions, corporate retreats & to host wedding guests. You can be near your family and friends while still having your own personal space. Walk back and forth on the beach or up up the street to visit each other, or take the longer drive by car. Call or email for detailed information and recomendations based on the size of your event.
Luggage Services
If you're fliying in to Eugene or Portland the worst thing that can happen is to arrive without your luggage. Two years ago, I had a guest arrive for a week stay, and he didn't get his luggage until the 4th day he was here. UPS your luggage to us - check with UPS to see how far ahead you need to send it based on your location, and we'll store it, until your arrival date and have it in the house when you arrive. My husband I have done this on trips to visit his family in the mid-west, then after our trip, we fly home with it, as it doesn't matter if it makes it with you or not on your return trip.. We can also arrange to ship it back to you.
Stock Your Beach House: Shopping
Grocery stocking is one of our most popular services, especially for those driving a long way or arriving by plane. How nice it is to arrive and find your refrigerator and cabinets stocked with food instead of having to trek out to shop. Your vacation starts as soon as you arrive! Simply email or fax us your grocery list at least 72 hours prior to your visit, and we will do all of your shopping and deliver your order to you! We provide recognized national brands from Safeway & Fred Meyer; natural or organic foods and products are available upon request if available..
The Cost:
For grocery services you will be charged $25/hr (minimum $25) plus 10% of the bill.
Please Note: We experience heavy order volume June 1 through September 30. Please make your grocery list as early as possible. Service is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Firewood Delivery
Most of our homes do not provide wood for fireplaces and wood-stoves. You can pick up bundles of firewood at various locations: Safeway, Fred Meyer, and True Value Hardware. But if you would rather we pick up and deliver boxes of firewood to your house, we’ll be happy to do so. Firewood prices change regularly, so the cost is $25.00 delivery charge, plus the actual cost of the wood.
